Bubble Killer
A downloadable game
Bubble Killer
A fast-paced arcade shooter for the Amiga 500 — developed in AMOS for PAL systems.
Bubble Killer is a simple but increasingly challenging arcade shooting game where the objective is to achieve the highest score possible.
You are positioned at the center of the screen, surrounded by an ever-growing threat. Bubbles appear around you and move towards your position. Your only defense is to shoot them before they reach you.
Survive the Bubble Attack!
At first, the number of bubbles is manageable. But as the game progresses, more and more bubbles appear, and they move increasingly faster.
The pressure keeps building, forcing you to react quickly, aim carefully and make every shot count.
How long can you survive?
How high can you push your score?
The game is designed around the simple philosophy of classic arcade games: easy to understand, difficult to master, and one more attempt is always tempting!
Developed with the Assistance of AI
This project was developed with the assistance of modern AI tools:
- Claude AI was used for the functional and technical specifications.
- Claude AI and Gemini were used for the development and programming.
- Gemini was used for the Gfx
The game was written in AMOS, specifically targeting the Amiga 500 PAL.
An Experiment in AI-Assisted Retro Development
Like my other Amiga projects, Bubble Killer was also an experiment in exploring how modern AI can assist in creating games for classic hardware, while working within the technical constraints of the Amiga 500 and AMOS.
Free Download
Bubble Killer is available free of charge. Using AI has a cost, so donations are appreciated.
Play it on a real Amiga 500 or through an appropriate Amiga emulator and see how long you can survive.
Shoot the bubbles. Survive the swarm. Beat your high score!
