Hi there, I go by the nickname Maz!
Welcome to my retro-development corner.
My journey with the Commodore Amiga started way back in 1988 when I first got my hands on an Amiga 500. Like many of us who grew up in the 16-bit era, the magic of those graphics, the iconic sound, and the sheer creativity of the platform left a lasting mark on me.
After some time away, I found myself drawn back to my roots in 2020, reconnecting with the actual hardware and the incredible community that still keeps the Amiga alive today.
Now, as of 2026, I’ve decided to take the next big step: transitioning from a player to a creator. I am currently learning how to develop my own games and programs for the Amiga, using AI as a learning companion to help me navigate classic coding languages like AMOS and ASM.
This Itch.io page is where I’ll be sharing my progress, my experiments, and eventually, my completed retro projects. It’s a learning journey bridging the golden era of computing with modern tools, and I’m excited to share it with you.
Thanks for stopping by, and long live the Amiga! 🕹️💾
